Where will you go when you die? Heaven or Hell? Most people think they will go to Heaven. But how can you know for certain? The Bible says there are only two ways to get to Heaven.

Firstly, by being a perfect person. When we lie, steal, cheat, lust and hate others, we break God’s law. When we break God’s law, it shows how imperfect we are. So sadly, we cannot enter Heaven when we die. This only leaves one place for us to go, Hell.

Secondly, We can ask Jesus for his perfect record. God does not want us to go to Hell, so He sent Jesus Christ to our world to live a perfect life, and die a cruel painful death on a cross to take the punishment that we all deserve for breaking God’s law. So if we believe in Jesus and do two things He asks us to do, we can be forgiven and one day enter Heaven. What are those two things?

1st, Be willing to turn away from anything that we know is wrong in our life and say sorry to Jesus. God promises to help us with the things that we are powerless to give up, if we allow Him to. This is called repentance.
2nd, We must surrender our life to Jesus Christ, acknowledging Him as God, and commit to following His ways.
